How can I make a function that makes a sum of prices from a month. It's like this:
23,59 1/jan/2002
25,89 8/dec/2002
15,59 10/jan/2002

There have to be a cell like this:
jan 39,31

Sorry, I can't speak good English. I'm from Holland.. but I will learn..
Thnx

In the formula below the dates are in A1:A3 and the values to sum are in B1:B3.

The 4 is the month (April) so use 1 for Jan etc.

It has to be entered as an array formula. Ctrl Shift Enter instead of Enter.

=SUM(IF(MONTH($A$1:$A$3)=4,$B$1:$B$3,0))

By the way, I used the Conditional sum addin to help construct the formula.

Regards,

Dave.
