I am looking for advice on hiding an authors identification in a file.
I'm writing some formulas that will at some point be available for free distribution in my industry. I want to be able to identify my work somehow, that is hidden, and can't be deleted. Prevent someone claiming my work is theirs.

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
depends what you mean by "can't be deleted". excel's security is poor, so you wont be able to completely hide anything, at least not from someone determined to find out what's going on behind the sceens. when you say 'formulas' do you mean formulas, or VBA code (macros, udf's) etc

care to privde a few more details?

I'm just learning the facts on Excel, locking files and such. I was just wondering how Excel program authors sign their work so other users of the workbook cannot easily delete the original authors name from the worksheet or file.
