Good morning everyone,
I run windows 10, Excel 2019. I have an excel worksheet with approximately 16 charts shown in
this sheet comprised of data within the workbook. However, I have one sheet that shows a chart,
which I did not create, and this chart is only visible in print preview, and if I attempt to change the
background color, the chart can be viewed in a preview of the color change only. Once the color
actually changes, it is gone again. There is no protection on the sheet, the object is not hidden, I
have broken any links associated (as I am aware). Would like to see if anyone has any knowledge of
this situation from previous experience. I do not mind sharing the sheet if someone would like
to take a look. I am not a newbie to excel, just to this forum. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Respectfully,
Tony

For info the two charts are chart 4 & Chart 5
If you select any chart, then on the Format tab select "Selection Pane", and you can bring up the charts.

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
Perfect. The VBA code selected them and I was able to delete them. Thank you very much Fluff!
Problem solved. For reference, what occurs to make these particular items undetectable unless
viewed in print preview as happened?

The property of both had been changed to "Don't move or size with cells"
Although I'm not sure why that would hide them.
