I have a large workbook with multiple tabs and Excel has apparently hidden some of the tabs with out my knowledge. When I try to copy the tab from an older version of the report, I get the error message that the tab already exists although I cannot see it. I have tried unhide, File, Options, Advanced, Show All Tabs. Is there a way to view thehidden tabs?

Thanks!

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
if you go into the VB editor and look at the sheets on the left under microsoft excel objects, looking at the properties at the bottom, sheets can be set as xlsheetveryhidden, that might be a cause
