Hide cell contents if another cell is empty.

I've been playing with this and can't figure it out. I have a cell (L10) with a simple formula in it.

What I want is for that cell to be blank if the cell 2 above it (L8) is empty.

How do I do that. I'm using MS Office 365 on the desktop.

=IF(L8="","",your formula)

Your right, I went back in there and pushed delete and it is now blank. I'm not too smart sometimes.
