Hey Folks,

I am having a time figuring this out. i have a combobox that I want visible only if a certain cell has a specific value. Otherwise it remains hidden. This is what I got and please forgive as I am still new:

Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)

If Range("Set Range Value").Value = "Set Desired Value" Then
ActiveSheet.Shapes("ComboBoxName").Visible = False
Else
ActiveSheet.Shapes("ComboBoxName").Visible = True

End If
End Sub

This is not working and i'm not exactly sure why. This is a Control Tool ComboBox as I'm sure that will make a difference.

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Hi,
what is,
If Range("Set Range Value").Value ?

If you are using Selection_Change, would you not require a target address?

Thanks Dave. I figured this out. The private sun was in a module. I moved it to the references sheet and it works fine
