I have several macros in my excel file...when the macros run, the screen flickers, data is copied/deleted, etc....it's very busy
Is there a way to hide the work being done by the macro and instead display a message "please wait while your data is being created..."

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
You can speed up the macro AND stop the flickering by adding the lines to all of you macros
You could also post the codes here and someone may assist in speeding them up
VBA Code:
sub Name
Application.screenupdating=false
""""yourcode in here
application.screenupdating=true
end sub
If you want a message to appear while the macro is running, you would need to apply it to the status bar
