Hello peeps,

There is an old thread similar to this, with no solution, and I was just wondering if anyone knew how to do this (especially now having newer versions!)? I just want to be able to not see the red note/comment indicator in cells, but still see the note/comment when hovering over cell (I have quite a few and it just makes the sheet look busy). I can't use Data Validation Input Message because the text is too long!

I don't think it can be done, but would appreciate any feedback...

Ta muchly!
Sara

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
Sara, there is no native option to change the red triangle.
However, a quick Google will provide a number of similar workarounds that involve adding a different coloured triangle to each comment cell, thereby masking the red.

You could perhaps do this with a white triangle if your cells are not otherwise formatted.
