Hi,

I've been using VBA for about 6 months or so (hobbyist). I'm currently working on a workbook for my job and I'm completely stuck.

XABCD

Method:Tracking #:

I have the above in place. I'm trying to have it so that C3 & D3 are hidden unless B3 (which has a Data Validation list assigned to it) says "Postal".

I don't mind if this achieved with a Formula or VBA.

Please Please help it's driving me crazy!

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
As VBA is case sensitive, is the cell value Postal, or maybe postal or POSTAL?

What is the Exact value that you are putting into D83

This is the piece I'm working on:

Cell D84 (which is a merged cell D84+E84) is the cell next to "Method", and the box with "(POSTAL ONLY) Tracking #:" is row 87 which is what I want to remain hidden unless Postal is in D84.

I hope this helps.

The problem will almost certainly be down to the fact you are using merged cells. They are an abomination & should be avoided like the plague.
I would strongly advise you get rid of them & simply make column D wider.
