Hiya, this is prolly simple but i just can't figure it out.

I have this code here:

Code:
Dim WbpWD As String
If ActiveWorkbook.Name = "ImportantTemplate.xlt" Then
WbpWD = InputBox("Enter Password", "Password")
End If

Any way i could get the letters typed into the input box o come out as *'s?

Thanks

Davie

Not sure as you can do this with an InputBox, however, you could create a UserForm that just has a TextBox on it to do the same thing. With the TextBox, one of the properties is PasswordChar. If you make the value of this property an asterisk, then it will do what you are asking.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>
