I would appreciate it a lot if someone could explain to me how I hide the value in the cell which a result is stored in when one of the two cells in the calculation is empty.

Thanks in advance

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Getting a error, saying "the formula you have typyed contains an error, in a english excel 2003 version.

Is there another way to do this ?
I am in a hurry and I really appreciate if someone could help me right away. I am really sorry for pushing it.

By the way is thera way to use it with this function
Code:
SUMIF(databas!A:A;C5;databas!B:B)

C5 will always have value so the D5 should be blank if A:A or B:B has no value in the databas sheet
