Hiden data

I use to be pretty good with dbase and then converted over to access. Then for the last 6 I have not used any access database needs at all.

I started a new job and I inherited an access data. No one know how to modify the program. My problem is that who ever created it has not been around for years. And the program comes up in the Menu only.

I have not found a way to get into the tables, reports, or the database its self. Can someone help me?

Thank you chris

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Try holding down either Shift or Control as you open the database which should stop macros from running.
You could also try removing the Menu form from the Tools/Startup menu if you can't just close it.

You need to disable to autoexec macro
hold down shift when loading

Then checkout the Access options for the curent database and re-enable full menus etc
The Autoexec probably runs code to hide everything (unless the Access DB is a compiled db then you really need the source DB)

That's assuming that there is an autoexec macro, which since Access 2000 isn't really necessary depending on what you want to do. So, it is probably better to say that holding the shift key down would bypass any startup options or autoexec macro as you can rely completely on the startup options and not use an autoexec macro. The only reason I point this out is for those who might get confused when they start looking for an autoexec macro and can't find one and then, if they are fairly new to Access databases, might be really confused.
