hello: Please forgive my ignorance as i am very new to writing macros. I am wondering if someone could give me some help writing a macros that will hide a column (on a different worksheet) when I make a selection from a combo box? The combo box only has two possible selections. When the first option is selected the column would not be hidden...when the second option is selected the macro would fire and hide the column.

Thanks very much.

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Try this

Code:
Private Sub ComboBox1_Change()
    If ComboBox1.ListIndex = 1 Then Sheets("Sheet2").Columns("J:J").Hidden = True
    If ComboBox1.ListIndex = 0 Then Sheets("Sheet2").Columns("J:J").Hidden = False
End Sub
