Hiding cells

Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble hiding some cells on my "mortgage projection" excel spreadsheet.

Basically I've managed to hide zero values with ;-0;;@ in cell formatting:

But, it also hides the final outstanding balance which should be £0.00 (where the arrow is pointing)

Is there anyway to hide all the "£0.00" without hiding the final outstanding balance?

Thanks in advance!

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
If I understand your question correctly, then I think this Custom Format pattern should do what you want...

[=0]"";General

Thanks for your reply, I gave your suggestion a try, but that just removed the '£' sign and added a few more decimal places on the visible entries, whilst the final outstanding balance (where the arrow is pointing) remained hidden.

I'm sorry, I could not get a good enough view of your posted pictures, so I guessed. Replace the General in my Custom Format suggestion with whatever pattern you want non-zero numbers to have... the keypart of my post was this...

[=0]"";

It hides zero values... you put whatever format you want after the semi-colon to handle the non-zero numbers.
