I'm afraid you would have to use macros to do what you're talking about in your example.

Is there a particular reason you don't want to use macros?

I just wanted to know whether it's possible or not.

I have wriiten following code for hiding the rows, can anybody tell me on which event i should call this routine so that the performance of the excel sheet is good.

If (Range("D22").Value <= 15) Then

Dim xxHeader
Set xxHeader = Worksheets("Solubilized AHF Paste").Range("A25:IV29")

For i = 1 To xxHeader.Rows.Count

xxHeader.Rows(i).Hidden = True

Next i

Else
Dim xx1Header
Set xx1Header = Worksheets("Solubilized AHF Paste").Range("A25:IV29")
For i = 1 To xx1Header.Rows.Count
xx1Header.Rows(i).Hidden = False
Next i
End If
