highlight a cell if it does not contains one of three letters

Hello,

I'm trying to find a way to highlight cells that do not contain either a y, n, or o. I've tried conditional format but can seem to figure out how to have excel search for all 3 letters.

Do the letters appear in the cell by themselves, or among other text like "always", or "never", or "hallow"

Thanks for responding Jonmo1. they are by themselves and are short for yes, no, and other.
