highlight entire row, based on column data..... plz hlp

I have 8 columns and 3644 rows.
Data starting on the fourth row.
I have used conditional formatting to highlight the data in column E cells if condition exists, If the column contains "N" or "F" i want it to highlight the entire row but it only highlights the "N" or "F". What is the best way to tackle this with rules or Macros? And if so HOW?

1.Select A4:H3648

2.Assuming that the Active Cell is A4

3.Enter the formula "=OR($E4="N",$E4="F")" in use a formula to determine the result.

4. choose the format.. and hit apply

when you say "In use a formula to determine the result" where is that and how do i get to that????????????

after selecting the range a4:h3648
hit Alt, H,L then N
Select the option "Use a formula to determine which cells to format"

In the field "Format values where this formula is true:"

Enter the formula above

Then click the "Format" button select the fill tab select the colour you ant to fill.

and click OK.

i simply need to highlight the entire row for condition "N" or "F"

Cell value that is important "N or F" need to be highlighted not "A"
