I have a worksheet that updates the current gas prices from my local area. I would like to highlight the cell or cells with the lowest gas price. The first number comes in at J3 and goes down to J33. Some of the cells that update are blank and some have this --- in the cell. How can I highlight the lowest price and ignor blanks and ---.

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.

Hello jim, welcome to MrExcel

Select the range J3:J33, starting at J3 and then apply this formula in conditional formatting

=(J3=MIN(J$3:J$33))*(J3<>"")
