I have a list of customers in column A. Most of the customer numbers are repeated on different rows.

Now I have a separate list in column I, this list has some of the customer numbers in column A.

My job is to identify the duplicate value on both lists. It is to compare both lists and highlight the duplicate values on both lists.

I tried conditional formatting and selected duplicate, but some of the values in column A are the same, so it turned out the whole column A is highlighted. I used "equal" in conditional formatting, but I have to select each item in column I , which is time consuming.

Is there ay other method to solve this? Is VBA the only method to solve this problem?

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
