Highlight row using arrow down or return and keep hightlighted to show complete

Hi

I use alot of excel sheets to update data in certain programs. I was wondering if there is a way to highlight the row using either arrow down button or the enter key when complete?

I was able to highlight active cell moving the cursor up and down, but this does not keep it highlighted.
