Highlighting Cells with Conditional formatting

i currently have a couple of tables on a workbook. i am wanting to use some conditional formatting that will highlight certain cells when a criteria is met and will change the highlighted cells when the criteria is changed.

i am able to highlight one cell using conditional formatting, but is there a way to highlight the other cells near it if it is highlighted?

below is an example. so i am able to have the site highlighted, but how do i make it so it will also highlight the position and sales fields as well? so at the min i have newcastle selected in my drop down and it makes it bold. if i change the site on the drop down it changes this to bold. what i want to do is not only make the site bold but the position and sales fields bold as well. this way it makes it much easier to view the current site you are looking at.

2Newcastle567
3Manchester423
4Oxford400

Assuming "Position" is in A1 & your drop down is in F1
Select A1 to C & last row & use this formula
=$B2=$F$1

Hi this isnt working. it isnt highlighting any of the info now? would the B2 reference part not only highlight everything is the item in B2 matches what is in the drop down?

It will highlight all 3 columns where col B matches F1 like

<b>Excel 2013/2016</b><table cellpadding="2.5px" rules="all" style=";background-color: rgb(255,255,255);border: 1px solid;border-collapse: collapse; border-color: rgb(187,187,187)"><colgroup><col width="25px" style="background-color: rgb(218,231,245)" /><col /><col /><col /><col /><col /><col /></colgroup><thead><tr style=" background-color: rgb(218,231,245);text-align: center;color: rgb(22,17,32)"><th></th><th>A</th><th>B</th><th>C</th><th>D</th><th>E</th><th>F</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr ><td style="color: rgb(22,17,32);text-align: center;">1</td><td style=";">Position</td><td style=";">Site</td><td style=";">Sales</td><td style="text-align: right;;"></td><td style="text-align: right;;"></td><td style=";">Oxford</td></tr><tr ><td style="color: rgb(22,17,32);text-align: center;">2</td><td style="text-align: right;;">1</td><td style=";">Derby</td><td style="text-align: right;;">999</td><td style="text-align: right;;"></td><td style="text-align: right;;"></td><td style="text-align: right;;"></td></tr><tr ><td style="color: rgb(22,17,32);text-align: center;">3</td><td style="text-align: right;;">2</td><td style=";">Newcastle</td><td style="text-align: right;;">567</td><td style="text-align: right;;"></td><td style="text-align: right;;"></td><td style="text-align: right;;"></td></tr><tr ><td style="color: rgb(22,17,32);text-align: center;">4</td><td style="text-align: right;;">3</td><td style=";">Manchester</td><td style="text-align: right;;">423</td><td style="text-align: right;;"></td><td style="text-align: right;;"></td><td style="text-align: right;;"></td></tr><tr ><td style="color: rgb(22,17,32);text-align: center;">5</td><td style="text-align: right;background-color: #8DC182;;">4</td><td style="background-color: #8DC182;;">Oxford</td><td style="text-align: right;background-color: #8DC182;;">400</td><td style="text-align: right;;"></td><td style="text-align: right;;"></td><td style="text-align: right;;"></td></tr><tr ><td style="color: rgb(22,17,32);text-align: center;">6</td><td style="text-align: right;;">5</td><td style=";">Leicester</td><td style="text-align: right;;">239</td><td style="text-align: right;;"></td><td style="text-align: right;;"></td><td style="text-align: right;;"></td></tr></tbody></table><p style="width:4em;font-weight:bold;margin:0;padding:0.2em 0.6em 0.2em 0.5em;border: 1px solid rgb(187,187,187);border-top:none;text-align: center;background-color: rgb(218,231,245);color: rgb(22,17,32)">Names</p><br /><br />

it isnt working on mine. it is just highlighting all of them when the top site matches the drop down.

my drop down is in cell D7.
the table i have is in J9 (headers) to L21.

i am highlighting j10:l21 then going to conditional formatting. i am then entering =$K10=$D$7. selecting the format etc. nothing is happening. currently at the top of the table is Oxford. if i select oxford in the drop down all of the sites highlight. then if i change the site it takes the highlight off them
