Hello,

I am a college student learning how to use Excel. I am having trouble with doing structured references in a Hlookup function in Excel. In the minisheet below, I am supposed to put a Hlookup function in E2 that looks up the value in the range P13:U14 in the 2nd row. The value I am supposed to use should be put as an absolute reference and as a structured reference. I am also supposed to find an approximate match. The online software that I am using will count off if I don't have that specific function. Can anyone help me?

Thank you,

Sean M

I was working on the hlookup function, but I realized I didn't know how to do structured references when I am getting information from a different table on the same worksheet. The second table that I am refering to is the range P13:U14. As far as I know it is not named. Any ideas? I hope I am phrasing this in a way that you understand.

If it doesn't have a name then it's not a table & you cannot use structured references.
