hlookup problem

hi everybody,
i have a problem with excel, i have a data table like this:

pink	pink	blue	red	red
12	1	5	6	3

<tbody>
</tbody>

what i'm tring to do is to summarize the table like this:

pink	13
red	9
blue	5

<tbody>
</tbody>

i know the hlookup function, but it cannot summarize my data.
