The data that I have is a start date | end date | time in-between. The chart I'm looking for is a chart with a horizontal axis for the dates. The oldest date to the left and sequentially move to the latest date on the right. Then each horizontal bar (or line or point) would span the start date and end date corresponding to the horizontal axis. I tried a scatter plot but I couldn't figure out how to get a line to extend to the start date. Below is what the chart should look like. Any help is greatly appreciated.
