Hours and minutes to decimals

Hello folks,

I'm trying to create a formula that will express hours and minutes into decimals and I'd be grateful for your help.

The hours are always expressed as #hours:00, or 15, or 30, or 45 minutes. What I am trying to do is to show this as,
for example 6:15 as 6.25, 6:30 as 6.5 and 6:45 as 6.75

Your help will be most appreciated.

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
