if i ahve 66.5 hours, what formula would i use to show it in work days
with work says being hours hours long

so that it would show 8 days 2 1/2 hours

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
I'm not sure of the formatting of your information, but let's assume you have 66.5 in cell A1. In cell B1, enter the following =A1/8.

Right click on cell B1 and change the format to Custom. In the "Type:" field at the top, enter dd:hh:mm and click OK.

You should be left with 08:07:30, which is 8 Days, 7 hours, and 30 minutes.

incorrect

8 times 8 is 64

subtract from 66.5 leaves 2 1/2 hours not 7 hours .30 minutes

Looks like there is a problem with formula, if you put 100.5 hours in here it should be 12 days 4.5 hours

it is coming up 13 days 4.5 hours
