Hover over Detail

Hi guys,

Not sure if this is possible but...

I have a sheet full of Acronyms with explanations and detail behind each one. On another sheet i have commentary that includes each of these acronyms. What i'd like to do, is hover the mouse over various aspects of the commentary (Either text box or in cell detail) and it pull the information, like it does on some internet sites.

Is this possible?

Hi,

Many thanks for this, This will be useful for something else i wanted to do on the same document, but i cant get it to do multiple matches in one text box.

For example, my textbox contains:

'Some words' - Acronym, 'Some more words' - Acronym, etc a few times.
I want to be able to highlight any of the acronyms within the same text box/cell and it give a coment sbox containing info (probably from a vlookup on the other sheet), and disappear if i move the mouse away.

Ideally, it should recoginise the words in the box and look to see if there is a match in a cell in another sheet to automate it but, i can live with manual.

Is this possible?

The Mouse Over Event works on the "Object" (testbox), not the items in the TextBox them selves.

Maybe someone else has a solution for your request. I don't know if this is even possible.
