Hi,

my name is Arulmohan

Its possible to align text in Left,Right & Centre by using formula

Excel Facts

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
Hi Arulmohan,

You can't do this with formula but it should be quite straightforward to write a VBA routine to achieve what you want.

Can you be more specific about what critieria you want to use to decide the appropriate alignment.

In elementary Excel it is not possible using a formula.

However, if you are good with the keyboard then use the shortcut keys:

Select or highlight the cell range to be indented:

Press Ctrl+1 --> A --> Alt+H --> Select Indentation --> Enter --> Enter.

Nope. A full list of keyboard shortcuts can be found by entering 'Keyboard shortcuts' into the Excel help search box.

PS It's polite not to use capitals when typing a message. It makes it look like you're SHOUTING.
