Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off

In that case with text to columns on page 3 of the wizard select all three columns in the Data preview pane & then select Text as data format, then click finish.
Before doing that make sure that the destination cells are formatted as general or text.

That works for me as long as the destination range is formatted to General before hand.
