How can I check an executable prog run complete

I' m run program from code

shell "PCSFT5 C:\SCRIPT.TTO"

and I want to waiting for until the program run finished.
then run code next line
Ex.

shell "PCSFT5 C:\SCRIPT.TTO"
docmd.openquery "XDir"

Now. I break by msgbox "Are you sure to continue"

shell "PCSFT5 C:\SCRIPT.TTO"
msgbox "Are you sure to continue"
docmd.openquery "XDir"

Realy, I want autometic code for checking it intstead msgbox.
