How can I count the days between to dates

I have 1 date in cell a1 and the other in a22

how can I do this please help
 

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Sort by date Sort by votes
Use formula cell B2
=DATEDIF(A1,A22,"d")
