Hi all,

I receive a csv file that contains columns A,B,C,D,E,F,G but a varying number of rows every time that I receive it.

In column B there are 8 digit numbers such as '12345678' in column G there are names such as 'Example Name'

What formula would I need to lookup through column B with this request...

If B2 = 12345678 and G2 = Example Name then replace B2 with 87654231 (otherwise change nothing)

Thanks in advance

Steve

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Try

Code:
Sub test()
Dim LR As Long, i As Long
LR = Range("B" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row
For i = 1 To LR
    With Range("B" & i)
        If .Value = 12345678 And Range("G" & i).Value = "Example Name" Then .Value = StrReverse(.Value)
    End With
Next i
End Sub
