=VLOOKUP($A$25,'D:\DNSDATA\AUG\List\[20-08-14.xls]Sheet1'!$D$1:$U$8000,9,0)
I want to link the Folder name and the file name by using a validation cell list.
I have try with CONCATENATE and INDIRECT functions but the result is coming #Ref

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.

it seems that you have to have your targeted file(s) opened to make it work.
