I have an excel spreadsheet that I import into an access table. The database works as it should, but one field's format doesnt regiater after a certain row.

For example the field will have one of two items in it. It will either have a number like 90685745...OR "Nothing in GSAP" (without the quotes of course)...

But after row 38,214 all i get from then on is 9.06916e+007

it is set up as a text.

Why does this happen?

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
got it..I had to format the column in excel as a number format, then import to access...everything looks as it should now.
