Greetings all,

I thought this should be easy but I'm struggling. I have a basic column chart graphing number of procedures on the Y axis by dr's over a period of 3 years with each dr on X axis. For example on the Y axis I merely have numbers say 0 at the bottom, 10,000 at the top.

On the X axis I have say 3 dr's: Dr. Earth Dr. Wind and Dr. Fire below thier last three years of data for total procedures which are charted in the graph ie Dr Earth would look like this followed by Dr Wind and Fire:

2007 2008 2009
Dr Earth

What I would like to to do is have a separate series graph and intersect the Y axis where benchmarks indicate they should be. For example if typical dr can do 2,312 procedures, I would like a line to intersect the Y axis at this point and cross the entire chart so we can easily compare performance per year per dr.

NOTE: I am not looking for help on altering the scale to do this function.
NOTE 2: I am using Excel 03.

Thank you all, continue to rock.
