i created a digital signature to sign my macros with. everything works as it should when someone opens one of my files - they either have to trust the file from me, or they cannot open it.
however, i noticed that on the prompt asking them if they want to trust information from me, it also says that my digital signature has not been authenticated and could be a forgery. how do I 'authenticate' my digital signature?

thanks,
kevin

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
so in other words, the selfcert.exe method of certifying your macros for 'personal or testing' purposes will not give me an authenticated signature and the only way to get an authenticated signature is to pay verisign or microsoft to give me one? i don't think that this is worth my trouble.

thanks for the help
