In a bar chart I've created on excel I need to colour just one specific horizontal gridline. For example the gridlines show at every 10%, I need to colour the 70% gridline in red. I know how to colour them all, but it's just the one specific gridline I need to change!
Here is one way i tryed to do it:
1. Format the axis and set Major unit to .7, and Minor unit to .1, and OK
2. Chart -> Chart Options -> Gridlines tab: both Major and Minor gridlines are checked
3. Format the Major Gridlines (e.g. at 70%), separately from the Minor ones: Select the 70% grid line and Format it.
However this will only show a y-axis label at 70%, which is a problem for me, I need to show all labels.
I also tried to just draw a line across 70% but as my chart is connected to a pivot table the grid keeps changing sizes and therefore the 70% line is hardly ever at 70%!
Any help appreciated!
