In my spreadsheet I want to copy the contents of cell L1 sheet 1 to different cell on sheet 2. How would I go about doing that?

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Welcome to the Board!

Here's one way (VBA):

Sheets("Sheet1").Range("L1").Copy Sheets("Sheet2").Range("A1")

Or a Formula approach: in your other sheet put =Sheet1!L1

Hope that helps,

Smitty

select cell on sheet 2, type "="; then click on sheet 1, cell L1, hit enter.

easiest way to link (for me :) )
