Here is an example of what I have. I was going to auto filter to only display Blank cells in columb B. I then want a formula so that when I show all the cells again it will input whatever is above the blank cell. So using the example listed B3 would look up and grab the 123 from B2 and then input it into B3. How would I go about doing this?

Excel Facts

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Turn off the filtering to display all data. Select column B and go to Edit -> Go To .... Click on the Special button and choose Blanks.

Then hit the = key and then the Up Arrow key and then Ctrl + Enter

Ahh very easy. Thanks a ton. Never used the Go To feature. It should come in handy doing other things as well. Thanks again

if you put your autofilter on and select blanks, then go to the first empty cell and put in the formula
=b2 (or whatever the previous cell range is)
then copy that formula
highlight the remaining blanks and select F5, special --> click Visible cells only --> OK
then paste

Now turn auto filter off
