how do i get excel to add 0s???

i have a workbook with missing dates and would like excel to insert any missing dates and add 0's into that missing dates if there is no data...

for example

1	Date	Company Name	Total

3	1/2/2006	A	35

5	1/5/2006	B	20
6	1/5/2006	B	185

question: - when i run the above codes it only allows me input 1 company at a time - (what happen when i have more then 1?) do i need to run the codes twice?

yah run it for each company

type Giant then run it then type valero run it.. etc etc

cause what its doing is takes your input say you type Giant

then it goes down the dates column and if there is NO date+giant then it adds it with a zero

then you just repeat for valero and any other company on the sheet
