how do i get the p-value for regression or correlation

quick one...
i want to get the p value for corresponding r^2 correlation (or regression for that matter). the only way i can get it now is by going to the statistics rout and getting the full stats output etc etc. all i wanted is to have two values - the square (=rsq(......)) and the relevant correlation p value for the same data...
can anyone help?
