I have a check list for work that I have to change the dates in every time I need it. Is there any way to format the cells so that when I type the first date in the rest of the dates will change? Thanks!!

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
There is a way!! We need a bit more info to better assist you however..

I dont know if this will help. It is in a landscape format. The page setup has the first cell blank then the next cell has the first date. next a blank cell then the next date. These go across the page until it moves down to the next row. Does this help?

Greetings,

Landscape/page setup do not matter. Not sure if this is anywhere close to what you are asking, but if you are saying (for instance) that you want to type a date in Cell B1 and Cell D1 will update to the next day, Cell F1 the day after that and so on...

In D1 type "=B1 + 1"
In F1 type "=D1 + 1"

...and so on....

If that's way off, maybe some clarification as Jim mentioned, and/or a picture of the sheet.

Hope this helps,

Mark
