How do I link two cells?

This seems like a simple question but I can't seem to figure it out. I need to link two cells, each containing different values, so that when I click on the first one, it highlights or points to the second cell. Is there anyway this can be done in excel without causing any changes to the values of either one or both cells? It would be great if someone could help me out on this. Thanks!

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
You won't get a substantive response to your question unless you describe the issue better.

What do you mean by
- "the first cell", meaning, what differentiates a "first cell" from a "second cell".
- "the second cell", meanining, what differentiates a "second cell" from a "first cell".
- "highlights or points", what are you envisioning, a pop-up drawing arrow, or formula auditing, or what.
- what if the "first cell" and "second cell" are on different sheets.
- are these cells manually entered or do they contain formulas...again, maybe formula auditing or something related to it is what you need.

Say the first cell is B2, containing a manually entered numerical value ( eg 50). And the second cell, say B19, contains a manually entered text value (eg printer). I want to link the two cells in anyway which can help connect the two values to form a relation between them (eg: Cost of printer is $50). Does that make any sense?
