Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
try the following code

Code:
Sub test()
Range("A1").select
Do While Not IsEmpty(ActiveCell)
ActiveCell.Offset(0, 1).Select
Loop
End Sub

How about (searching column A; change to suit):

Code:
Sub foo()
  MsgBox "Last Row is cell: " & Cells(Rows.Count, "A").End(xlUp).Address
End Sub

Or natively:

Edit-->Goto-->Special-->Last Cell.

Hope that helps,
