I have a number of events in which the time and date is given. For example "[UTCTime "22:04:02"]". I'm in a different timezone so I'm going to make a new column saying "Canada Time" and I'd like to add 4 hours to that. In that column I wrote =A1+4 but that didn't work. Then I tried changing the above to "22:04:02" (ie took out the text) and then in a diff cell tried adding 4 to that, which also didn't work. Please help!

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Maybe something like this:
Note: In Excel 1 hour is equal to 1/24 of a day. So 4 hours = 4/24 or 0.166667.

AB
1[UTCTime "22:04:02"]2:04:02

Thanks! I'm afraid that didn't work, or at least isn't the final result I'm looking for. In the example I tested [UTCTime "22:04:02"] ended up as 1.086134259

You need to format the cell as time.
