how do i pick numbers from cells based on their value?

I have two columns of numbers. When the right column is less than the left column, I want the number in the right column to go into a new cell. But if the left column number is smaller, I want that to go into my new cell. Basically, whichever number is smaller, I want it to go into a new cell. What formula should I use?
