In windows, put the cursor on a Word file in a folder and something like this pops up:

Type: Microsoftword Document
Author:Please Enter Your Name Here
Title
Size 100.0 KB

I didn't ask for such useless information, but Bill Gates and his minions think I need to know.

Is there anyway to turn this stuff off?

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)
Thanks for the reply! I finally got around to following up on the link you provided. Worked like a champ!
