Hi all,
I would realy appreciate some guidance on a problem that's got me stumped.
I have two sheets in a workbook, one containing response to a stimulus and the other containing the time this response was recorded. I'm interested in finding the time stamp for the maximal response recorded.
So I've used this formula to find the address of the maximum value =CELL("address",INDEX(E4:I4,MATCH(MAX(E4:I4),E4:I4,0))) .
since the data is arranged exactly same in both sheets I figure that all i need to do is retrieve the value from the same address in the "Time" sheet.
Any suggestions on how I should go about it?

Thanks in Advance ?‍♀️?‍♀️

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
That will give the maximal time stamp not the time stamp of the maximal response.

Vlookup uses a value,not address,no?
If I use Vlookup wouldn't it will look for the address as a value?

Missed it was on separate sheets.
Try
=INDIRECT("Time!"&CELL("address",INDEX(E4:I4,MATCH(MAX(E4:I4),E4:I4,0))))
