How do I use vba to clear the contents of some merged cells

I want to clear the contents of some merged cells on my spreadsheet. I have D6 to K6 as a merged cell, how to I clear them as I used to have just D6 and I used the following code

Cells(6, 4).Clear

This code won't work when the cell are merged, even in D6 is the upper left cell.

Could someone help me with this please?

Instead of Clear, use:
Cells(6,4)=""
