I'm importing data into Access and I need to make each account number 8 characters long. How do I add 4 zeros to the begining of those accounts with only 4 digits? Add 3 zeros to the begining of those accounts with only 5 digits, etc.

Essentially, I need to equivelant of the 'REPT' function in Excel.

Thanks in advance.

Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
You can do so in a query, with a calculated fields.

=FORMAT([Field1],"00000000")

...Or if the field should actually be text, you can use

=RIGHT("00000000"&[YourField],8)
